RESOLUTION 24-095
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION TO THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT FOR
THE RAY HELGESEN ADDITION FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 6120 STRAWBERRY LANE
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood approved a request on May 28, 2024 from Patti and Paul
Helgesen (the "Applicant") for preliminary plat and final plat for the property located at 6120
Strawberry Lane and legally described as:
The north 250 feet of Lot 35, Minnewashta and Lots 36 and 37, Minnewashta, except the
south 225 feet of said Lots 36 and 37, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution 24-043 included a condition that the approvals would expire in 180 days
unless the final plat and other required materials are recorded or an extension has been
approved; and,
WHEREAS, the 180 day period expires on November 24, 2024, unless an extension is requested
and approved subject to City Code 1202.03 Subd. 3. c; and,
WHEREAS, the Applicant has outstanding conditions of approval that they have yet to satisfy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood that the
deadline to record the final plat and other required materials is hereby extended subject to the
following conditions:
1. The preliminary and final plat approved by the City of Shorewood Resolution 24-043 on
May 28, 2024 be recorded with the county recorder or register of titles by May 23,
2025.
2. All conditions listed in Resolution 24-043 shall be adhered to.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 25th day of November,
2024.
