A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT IMPROVEMENTS & AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
FOR THE STRAWBERRY LANE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT;
CITY PROJECT 19-05
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood awarded the Strawberry Lane Reconstruction
Project to Kuechle Underground, Inc. at the October 24, 2022, Council Meeting in the
amount of $4,595,317.41; and
WHEREAS, Kuechle Underground, Inc. has completed all work in accordance with the
contract and is requesting acceptance and final payment; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has completed work in the amount of $4,428,936.77 and is
$166,380.64 under the awarded contract award; and
WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the final punch lists, final estimate, verified quantities,
IC-134s, lien waivers, warranty bonds, and recommends acceptance and final payment
to Kuechle Underground, Inc in the amount of $54,214.48.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: the City Council of the City of Shorewood
hereby accepts the improvements and authorize final payment in the amount of
$54,214.48 to Kuechle Underground, Inc. for the Strawberry Lane Reconstruction
Project.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 25t" day of
November, 2024.
