Nielsen Planning Director City of Shorewood 5755 Country Club Road Shorewood, Minnesota 55331 Dear Mr. Nielsen: On January 5, you were sent a letter indicating that the Metropolitan Council would be acting upon a request for an extension to complete your review of your comprehensive plan in response to the Council's 1988 Systems Information Statement. In error, you were sent the same letter as a large number of other communities that have submitted resolutions requesting extensions. However, as Chair Keefe indicated in a letter dated December 19, we have not yet received a resolution from your city council, which is required for such a request. An extension for Shorewood will not be approved as was indicated in the letter. I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please feel free to call me at 291-6501 if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Anne W.
