RESOLUTION NO. 05-062
A RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE
TIMBER LANE WATER PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 04-05
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 04-098 adopted November 22, 2004, which
Declared the Adequacy of a Petition for the Extension of Municipal Water Service On Timber
Lane; Resolution 05-038 adopted April 25, 2005, Declaring Cost to be Assessed and Ordering
Preparation of Proposed Assessment and Ordering an Assessment Hearing; and Resolution
05-045 adopted May 9, 2005, authorizing an advertisement for bids for the Timber Lane Water
Project, City Project No. 04-05, said advertisement for bids was published, and bids were
received, opened, and tabulated on June 15, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., according to law (such
tabulation is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the bids submitted were in
compliance with the plans and specifications on file with the City Administrator/Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has also determined that the bids submitted were in
excess of amounts budgeted to fund said Improvement Project.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby directed to reject all bids
received for this Improvement Project.
2. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made for bids received.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SH WOOD this 27th
day of June, 2005.
