RESOLUTION NO. 03-110
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE VACATION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS AND
THE PREVIOUSLY VACATED MAPLE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, on February 12, 1979, the City Council of the City of Shore wood adopted
Resolution 17-79 relating to the vacation of a portion of the Maple Street right-of-way described
in the attached Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 17-79 was recorded with Hennepin County on March 30, 1979
as Document Number 4461080; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 17-79 vacated the right-of-way but reserved in favor of the City
utility easements; and
WHEREAS, Shorewood Village Shopping Center, me. has petitioned the City to vacate
its interests in the utility easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined there is no present or future need for the
utility easements and recommends their vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood does hereby vacate all title and interest in the utility easements within the former
Maple Street right-of-way as described in the attached Exhibit A.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
An easement, reserved in fa.vor of the City of Shorewood, in, upon, under and over that portion
of Maple Street in the Plat of Linden Park, Hennepin Co., Minnesota lying east of the following
described line: commencing at the northwest comer of Lot 13 said addition; thence in a
northwesterly line of the southwest comer of said Lot 11 said addition, all of said street being in
the south half of Section 34, Township 117, Range 23.
