RESOLUTION NO.03- 084
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING
A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
SHOREWOOD LIQUOR STORE #2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Construction of
Shorewood Liquor Store #2, bids were received and opened on September 2, 2003 and
tabulated according to law, and such tabulation is attached hereto and made a part hereof
as Exhibit A, and;
WHEREAS, Architect Jack Seaborne and the Liquor Operations Director
reviewed the bids for accuracy and compliance with said specifications, and the City
Council has determined that Construction Results Corp. is the lowest bidder in
compliance with the specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with Construction Results Corp., in the
name of the City of Shorewood, according to the plans and specifications
approved by the City Council on file in the office of the City
Administrator/Clerk.
2. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all the bidders any deposits made with their bids,
except for the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder,
which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
