RESOLUTION NO. 03- 077
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED PRELIMINARY GEOMETRIC
LAYOUT FOR THE COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 19/SMITHTOWN ROAD
INTERSECTION REALIGNMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 97-08
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Shorewood approved a preliminary
geometric layout on November 5th, 2001, as prepared by WSB and Associates for the
realignment of County State Aid Highway 19 as it intersects with Smithtown Road; and
WHEREAS, revisions to said geometric layout have been requested and
performed by Hennepin County on behalf of the developer of the Smithtown Crossings
Shopping Center to improve access to said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said layout and found it to be in
order.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Preliminary Geometric Layout for City Project 97-08, attached hereto
as Exhibit A, is hereby approved.
2. That the City Council urges Hennepin County proceed, with the utmost speed,
to perform revisions to the final design for said improvement project.
