A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SIGNING OF THE
2003 MUNICIPAL RECYCLING GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF SHOREWOOD AND HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, on February 10, 2003, the City Council of the City of Shorewood adopted
Resolution 03-013 which Authorized the Submittal of the 2003 Hennepin County Grant
Application for Municipal Source Separated Recyclables; and
WHEREAS, the City will operate its recycling program as described in the Grant
Application; and
WHEREAS, the City and County shall enter into a contract for Municipal Recycling for
the period January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003, for which the County shall pay the City an
annual amount not -to -exceed $21,460;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
That the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to sign the Municipal
Recycling Grant Agreement for the year 2003, Contract No. A030714 with
Hennepin County.
