RESOLUTION NO.02 - 002
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPOINTMENT OF TOM SKRAMSTAD
TO THE MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT
BOARD OF MANAGERS
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood lies partially within the Minnehaha Creek Watershed
District (MCWD); and
WHEREAS, Malcolm Reid has served on the Board of Managers of the MCWD, and will not
be seeking reappointment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to name a resident it supports for appointment by the
Hennepin County Board of Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered several residents who would provide good
service to the communities within the MCWD by becoming a Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that Tom Skramstad has the necessary background
• and skills to serve competently and effectively as a Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Shorewood
hereby supports the appointment of Tom Skramstad by the Hennepin County Board of
Commissioners to the MCWD Board of Managers for a three-year term.
