RESOLUTION NO 01- 086
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR S.P. 1004-25 T.H.7
ACCESS CONTROL PROJECT, CITY PROJECT 98-04
WHEREAS, on September 13th, 1999 the City Council of the City of Shorewood
entered into Mn/DOT Cooperative Agreement 79330 for construction of SP 1004-25 (T.H.
7=119) known as the Trunk: Highway 7 Access Control Project; and,
WHEREAS, on September 13th the City of Shorewood entered into a contract with
Hardrives, Inc. for construction of said Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Contractor has petitioned for final acceptance of the project and
final payment based on work performed to date; and,
WHEREAS, the Project Manager has made a final inspections and recommends
final acceptance of the Improvement for the City's perpetual maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
The City hereby does accept the work completed pursuant to said contract and authorizes
final payment to the Contractor.
1. The Contractor furnish the City a one year maintenance bond pursuant to
the contract.
2. The Contractor must make satisfactory showing that he has complied with
the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding of State
Income Tax.
3. Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the Contractor
by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 10th day of
December, 2001.
