A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER 2
FOR THE TRUNK IDGHW A Y 7 & 41 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT,
CITY PROJECT NO. 98-05, S.P. 1008-58 (T.H. 41=12), S.A.P. 206-010-04
WHEREAS, on July 23rd, 2001 the City of Shore wood entered into a contract for
construction with Hardrives, Inc. For the Trunk Highway 7 & 41 Reconstruction Project,
City Project No. 98-05; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has prepared Change
Order 2, attached hereto as Exhibit A for substitution of materials for the original
contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed said Change Order 2 and found it to
meet the Contract Documents for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Shore wood to approve
Change Order 2 with Hardrives, Inc., that incorporates all labor, equipment and services
outlined for a decrease in the Original Contract amount of$18, 190.00, attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 10th day of
December, 2001.

In accordance with the terms of this Contract, you are hereby authorized and instructed to perform the Work as altered by the following
provisions:
With the Bituminous Office I s concurrence, the Contractor is permitted to
substitute 12.5 mm nominal aggregate for the 9.5 mm nominal aggregate that is
specified in the Plan for the wear course mixture on this Project. Payment for
this new mix designation (SPWEB440E) will beat the new Negotiated Unit Price as
shown in the Estimate of Cost. This mix designation will be in lieu of the Plan
specification mix (SPWEA440E).
