RESOLUTION NO. 01- 073
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY GEOMETRIC LAYOUT
FOR THE COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 19/SMITHTOWN ROAD
INTERSECTION REALIGNMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 97-08
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Shorewood ordered the preparation
of a preliminary geometric layout for the realignment of County State Aid Highway 19 as
it intersects with Smithtown Road; and
WHEREAS, WSB and Associates has prepared said geometric layout and has
obtained review and approval for said layout by Representatives of Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said layout and found it to be in order.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Preliminary Geometric Layout for City Project 97-08, attached hereto
as Exhibit A, is hereby approved.
• 2. That the City Engineer is directed to proceed with final design for said
improvement project.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 5th day of
November, 2001.
