RESOLUTION NO. 01-047
RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of certain drainage and
utility easements in the City of Shorewood, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was published in the
Excelsior/Shorewood edition of the SUN'SAILOR NEWSPAPER on the 25`h of July and 1 st of
August, 2001 and in the LAKER NEWSPAPER on the 28th of July and 4" of August, 2001; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Public Hearing was posted in three (3) locations in the City
of Shorewood; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Shorewood heard all interested parties on the
question of vacation at a Public Hearing on the 13th day of August, 2001, in the Council
Chambers at the City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that the drainage and utility easements described in Exhibit A, attached
hereto and made a part hereof, be and hereby are vacated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to notify the County
Offices in accordance with Minnesota Statutes.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 13th
day of August, 2001.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE VACATED
"That part of the 10.00 foot wide utility and drainage easement as dedicated on Lot 3, Block
1, FOOT LAKE ADDITION, which lies westerly of a line drawn parallel with and 10.00 feet
westerly of the most easterly line of said Lot 3, and which lies easterly of a line drawn
parallel with and 10.00 feet westerly of that line (and its extensions) of said Lot 3 as
witnessed on said plat by a bearing of South 0 degrees 0 minutes 55 seconds and a distance of
91.76 feet."
