A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL
OF CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR CITY PROJECT 99-22
FREEMAN PARK MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING
(EDDY STATION)
WHEREAS, by Resolution 00-67, the City Council accepted bids and
awarded the contract for City Project 99-22, Freeman Park Multipurpose Building, to CM
Construction, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, CM Construction, Inc. has submitted fourteen separate
requests for various additions and deletions for said project; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has reviewed said requests and
has provided the City Council with a description and recommendation for each request;
and
WHEREAS, "Exhibit A," attached hereto summarizes negotiations with
CM Construction, Inc. for all of the requests submitted to date; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to resolve all of said requests under the title of
Change Order 1 for said project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Shorewood City
Council authorizes expenditure of funds for Change Order #1, Project 99-22, Freeman
Park Multipurpose Building (Eddy Station), in the amount of $12,192.00 paid directly to
CM Construction, Inc. for general contract changes incurred during construction.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 11 th day of
December 2000.
