RESOLUTION NO. 98- 108
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1999 BUDGET AND APPROVING
THE 1998 PROPERTY TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 1999
WHEREAS, the 1999 Budget and 1998 property tax levies collectible in 1999 for the City of
Shorewood were submitted and made available for public review at City Hall on November 25, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing, upon notice duly given, was held on December 7, 1998, for the
purpose of receiving comments from the public regarding the adoption of such budgets and property tax
levies; and,
WHEREAS, the adoption of the 1999 Budgets and 1998 property tax levy collectible in 1999 was
held over to a subsequent hearing held on December 14, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as
follows: .
1. That the following budgets are adopted for 1999:
General Fund
Water Fund - Operating and Debt Service
Sewer Fund
Recycling Fund
Stonnwater Management Fund
$2,801,313.00
684,625.00
893,665.00
84,986.00
25,681.00
2.
That the following sums be levied for 1998, collectible in 1999, upon taxable
property in the City of Shorewood for the following purposes:
General Fund $2,283,340.00
Less: HACA (421.282.00)
Total Levy
$1,862,058.00
3. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this
resolution to the County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 14th day of
December, 1998.
