RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 044
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A LIMITED USE PERMIT
WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS the City of Chanhassen has prepared project plans, specifications and
estimates for construction of a bituminous trail and appurtenances within the State Trunk
Highway 7 (TH 7) right ,of way; and
WHEREAS, a portion of said project along TH 7 lies within the corporate
boundary of the City of Shorewood; and
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen has requested from the City of Shorewood a
resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a Limited Use
Permit with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for construction and
maintenance of said bituminous trail along the south side to TH 7;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to enter into a
Limited Use Permit with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for
construction and maintenance of a trail and appurtenances by the City of
Chanhassen.
2. That such approval is subject to the City of Chanhassen agreeing fund and
perform 100 percent of the maintenance required for the trail.

day of May 1998.
