CITY OF SHOREWOOD
RESOLUTION NO. 97-70
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY AND ORDERING PLANS,
SPECIFICA TIONS AND ESTIMATES FOR THE LAKESIDE LATERAL W ATERMAIN
EXTENSION
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the City Council June 9th, 1997, a
Feasibility Report for the Lakeside Lateral Extension was presented to the City Council on
August 11, 1997; and
WHEREAS, City Engineer Lawrence Brown has prepared said Feasibility Report; and
WHEREAS, such improvement is considered to be technically and financially feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
1. That the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to enter into an agreement
for the City of Shorewood with the Petitioners of said improvement, which shall outline
compensation of all reasonable costs incurred by the City to be recovered from said petitioners..
2. That the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to enter into an agreement
for preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates with for said project and will report to the
City Council will all convenient speed.
3.. That Orr Schelen Mayeron, and Associates Inc., is hereby designated as the
engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for he
making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 25th
day of August, 1997.
