RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 68
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND A WARDING
CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION
OF 2 SINGLE AXLE DUMP TRUCK BOXES, HYDRAULIC
SYSTEMS, LIGHTNG SYSTEMS AND
MISCELLANEOUS APPURTENANCES
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements designated and tabulated
according to Furnish and Install 2 Dump Truck Boxes and Hydraulic Systems and Appurtenances,
bids were received, opened on August 20, 1997 and tabulated according to law, and such tabulation
is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that I-Craft Incorporated, is the lowest responsible
bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as
follows:
. 1. That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with I-Craft Incorporated, in the name of the City of Shorewood, for the Furnishing
and Installation of2 Single Axle Dump Truck Boxes, Hydraulic Systems, Lighting Systems and
Miscellaneous Appurtenances according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the
City Council on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk.
2. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all the
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except for the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
