RESOLUTION No. 97-13
At a meeting of the City Council of the City of Shorewood, held on the 24th day of February, 1997,
the following Resolution was offered by Councilmember McCarty
; seconded by Garfunkel
, to wit:
WHEREAS the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has prepared:
plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 12, renumbered as
Trunk Highway No.7, within the corporate limits of the City of Shorewood, from the 291 meters west of
Christmas Lake Road to 341 meters east of Christmas Lake Road; and seeks the approval thereof;
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of said
Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and hereby are approved including the
elevations and grades as shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by
said construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City does hereby agree to require the parking of all vehicles, if such
.rking is permitted within the corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the
rb adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting said
trunk highway.
Upon the call of the roll, the following council members voted in favor of the
Resolution: Mavor Dahlberg; Councilmembers McCarty, Garfunkel and O'Neill
and, the following council members voted against the adoption of the Resolution:
whereupon the mayor and/or the presiding officer declared the Resolution adopted.
