RESOLUTION NO. 96-..1ll.
A RESOLUTION ORDERING AN UPDATE TO THE FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR THE GLEN ROAD-COUNTY ROAD 19 STORMW A TER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 96-06
WHEREAS, a feasibility report for the Glen Road Stormwater Improvements and Appurtenant
Work for Glen Road and County Road 19 was prepared and accepted by the Shorewood City Council on
June 25, 1996; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined previously that these improvements are recommended by
the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District to increase rate control to help reduce impacts of stormwater
runoff downstream of the Glen Road and County Road 19 intersection; and
WHEREAS, changes have occurred in property ownership, hydraulic features of the area, and
design criteria which require further analysis of the project to determine the feasibility of said project;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Shorewood Minnesota:
1. The proposed improvements are referred to the City Engineer for further study, and that
he is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising Council as to whether the
proposed improvements are feasible, in addition to the estimated costs associated with the project, and
various revenue alternatives for the project.
2. The City Administrator and Mayor hereby authorized to enter into contract for
professional services with Orr Shelen Mayeron Associates, Inc. not the exceed $5,000.00
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD, this 4th day of
December, 1996.
