RESOLUTION NO. 96-..lll..
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ADEQUACY OF THE PETITION
FOR IMPROVEMENTS AND ORDERING THE
PRELIMINARY FEASmILITY REPORT IN THE MATTER OF
THE WATER'S EDGE DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has received a petition (the Petition) requesting that the
City improve certain property by constructing street, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain
improvements (the improvement); and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has reviewed the Petition and identified that the single
owner of real property affected by said improvements who are abutting the public right of way named in
the Petition is the applicant;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Shore wood
Minnesota:
1. The Petition is hereby declared to have been signed by all of the affected owners of 100%
of the frontage of the real property abutting the public right of way named in the Petition as the location
of the improvement. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota State Statutes, Section
429.035.
2. This Petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer who is instructed to provide to the
City Council a report advising, in a preliminary way, whether the Improvement is feasible and whether the
Improvement should thus be made as proposed or in conjunction with other improvements and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
ADOPTED by the Shorewood City Council this 4th day of December, 1996.
