CITY OF SHOREWOOD
RESOLUTION NO. 96-78
A RESOLUTION REJECTING THE REVISED BIDS AND
AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR LANDSCAPING FOR THE
SOUTHSHORE SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 96-59 adopted on June 24, 1996, which awarded the
contract for the construction of the Southshore Senior Community Center, City Project No. 95-20
contingent upon GEH Construction holding the bid for the landscape portion of the Contract for a period
of 60 days; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to re-bid the landscape portion of the project; and
WHEREAS, TSP/EOS received quotes on August 22, 1996 and have been tabulated said quotes
as shown in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the bids received were not of significant difference of the original bid.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Shorewood as follows:
That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to amend the
original award of contract with GEH Construction as originally bid as part of the Southshore
Senior Community Center according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the
City Council on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 26th day of
