RESOLUTION NO.-22.:11_
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION AND COMBINATION
OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Martin and Cheryl O'Brien (Applicants) are the owners of certain real
property in the City of Shorewood, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, legally described as:
"Lot 13, Block 1 Tonkawood Estates, Hennepin County, Minnesota" (Parcel A); and
WHEREAS, Jan Haugen (Applicant) is the owner of certain real property in the City of
Shorewood, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, legally described as:
"Lot 12, Block 1 Tonkawood Estates, Hennepin County, Minnesota" (Parcel B); and
WHEREAS, the Applicants propose to rearrange the property line between Parcel A and
Parcel B, creating two parcels as legally described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part
hereof; and
WHEREAS, the subdivision and combination requested by the Applicants complies in all
respects with the Shorewood City Code; and
WHEREAS, the application was reviewed by the City Planner, and his recommendations
were duly set forth in a memorandum to the Planning Commission, dated 2 August 1996, which
memorandum is on file at City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the application and the Planner's recommendations were reviewed by the
Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on 6 August 1996, the minutes of which meeting
are on file at City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the application was considered by the City Council at a regular meeting of
the Council held on 26 August 1996, at which time the Planner's Memorandum and the
recommendations of the Planning Commission were reviewed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1 . That the parcels of property legally described as Parcels A and B, above be
subdivided and recombined to form the two parcels legally described in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
2. That the City Clerk furnish Applicants with a certified copy of this resolution for
recording purposes.
4. That Applicants shall cause this Resolution to be recorded with the Hennepin
County Recorder or Registrar of Titles within thirty (30) days of the date of
certification.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 26th
day of August 1996.

Lot 13, Block 1, TONKAWOOD ESTATES, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except
that part of said Lot 13, described as follows: Beginning at the most northerly
corner of said Lot 13; thence South 55 degrees 26 minutes 00 seconds West,
assumed bearing, along the northwesterly line of l:?aid Lot 13 a distance of 36.73
feet; thence North 63 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds East 32.49 feet to the
northerly line of said Lot 13; thence 5.30 feet along the northerly line of said Lot
13 to the point of beginning.

shore line to the intersection with a line which bears South 63 degrees 44 minutes
00 seconds West from the point of beginning; thence North 63 degrees 44
minutes 00 seconds East to the point of beginning and there terminates.

bearing along the northwesterly line of said Lot 13 a distance 36.73 feet to the
point of beginning of the land to be described; thence continue South 55 degrees
26 minutes West to the shore line of LAKE WILLIAM; thence northerly along the
shore line to the intersection with a line which bears South 63 degrees 44 minutes
00 seconds West from the point of beginning; thence North 63 degrees 44
minutes 00 seconds East to the point of beginning and there terminates.
