RESOLUTION NO. 96. 55
A RESOLUTION REORGANIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS, ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF SUPERVISOR OF
OPERA TIONS AND MAINTENANCE, AND MAKING AN
APPOINTMENT TO SAID POSITION
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works/City Engineer is the Department Head
for the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, said Department Head requires a Supervisor of Operations and
Maintenance to be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the Public Works facility
and of the Department; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and City Administrator
have recommended that the Working Foreman position become the Supervisor of
Operations and Maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works/City Engineer has favorably evaluated
the performance of Working Foreman Larry Niccum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1996.
1. That the Public Works Department is hereby restructured with the Public Works
Director/City Engineer as the Department Head; with the Supervisor of
Operations and Maintenance responsible to said Department Head.
2. That the job description of the Supervisor of Operations and Maintenance is
hereby adopted.
3. That Larry Niccum is hereby appointed to said position of Supervisor of
Operations and Maintenance.
4. That attached salary range be hereby adopted for the Supervisor of Operations
and Maintenance position for the year 1996.
5. That Larry Niccum be placed at Step 4 at said scheduled effective March 1,
1996, with eligibility to go to Step 5 on March 1, 1997.
