CITY OF SHOREWOOD
RESOLUTION NO. 95-90
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND A WARDING
CONTRACT FOR BOULDER BRIDGE AND BADGER FIELD
WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements
designated as Boulder Bridge and Badger Field Water System Improvements, City Project
No. 95-1, bids were received, opened on August 25, 1995, and tabulated according to law,
and such tabulation is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc.,
is the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a contract with Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc., in the name of the City of
Shorewood, Project No. 95-1, according to the plans and specifications therefor approved
by the City Council on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk.
2. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except for the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SHOREWOOD this 11th day of September, 1995.
