CITY OF SHOREWOOD
RESOLUTION NO. 95-_~
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council
adopted April 10, 1995, a report has been prepared by the
City's Consulting Engineer from Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates with reference to the improvement of the Boulder
Bridge and Badger Field Water System Improvements and this
report was received by the Council on June 26, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Shorewood, as follows:
1.) The Council will consider the construction of such
water system improvements in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting and benefited property
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of One Million
Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000).
2.) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on the 24th day of July, 1995 in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall at 7:45 p.m., and shall be
continued at the same location on the 25th day of July
1995 at 7:30 p.m. The clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood this 26th day of June, 1995.
