RESOLUl'ICN AOCEPrIOO BID FeR 1HE PUVJP lDJSE AND APPURrENANI' \\rnK FeR saJIHEAST AREA TRUNK WATER SUPPLY AND S1URAGE FACILI'IY WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Project No. 86-1C, the pump house for the improvement designated as the Southeast Area Trunk Water Supply and Storage Facility, bids were received, opened on May 26, 1987, and tabulated according to law as follows: Richmar Construction, Inc. $ 168,501. 00 $ 181,927.00 $ 203,125.04 $ 211,786.50 A & K Construction, Inc. Gridor Contractors, Inc. Bergerson-Caswell, Inc. WHEREAS, the City Council has detennined that A & K Construction, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications. NlV, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of ~ Shorewood, Minnesota, that: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with A & K Construction, Inc., in the name of the City of Shorewood for Project No. 86-1C, the pump house for the Southeast Area Trunk Water Supply and Storage Facility, according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
