RESOLUI'ICN APPROVIKG PLANS AND SPECIFIC'ATICNS
AND ORDERIKG ADVERI'ISEVIENT FOR BIDS FOR ~STRUCTICN OF
1987 STREET IMPROVElVJENl' PROJECr #62 - 8 7
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ci ty Council on
May 11, 1987, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for
local improvements designated as the 1987 Street Improvement Project #62-87
and has presented such plans and specifications to the City Council for
approval.
l'OV, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in "Construction Bulletin" an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvements under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published for one day, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the
City Clerk until a.m. (p.m.) on , 1987, at which time they will
be publicly opened in the Council Chambers at City Hall by the City Clerk and
City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council
at a.m. (p.m.) on , 1987, in the Council Chambers,
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City
Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, big bond or
certified check payable to the City for percent of the amount of such
bid.
