WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for
local improvements designated as the 1987 Street Improvement Project #87-2,
bids were received, opened on July 13, 1987, and tabulated according to law
as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that l\1unn Blacktop is
the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications.
N:lV, lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the attached contract with ~~ Blacktop, in the name of the
City of Shorewood for Project No. 87-2, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
