RESOLUl'ICN ORDERIOO ADVERrISBVJENr FOR BIDS FOR ~STRUCl'ICN
OF WATER 'lUVER FOR SCUlHEAST ARFA TRUNK WATER SUPPLY
AND SlURAGE FACILI'lY
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ci ty Council on
March 10, 1986, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for
teh construciton of the water tower for that local improvement designated as
the Southeast Area Trunk Water Supply and Storage Facility and has presented
such plans and specifications to the City Council for approval, and
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications were approved by the City
Council pursuant to Resolution No. 96-87.
rov, lliEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and ; in "Construction Bulletin" an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such irrprovement under such approved plans and specifications.
The advertisement shall be published for one day, shall specify the work to
be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 11:30 a.m.
on August , 1987, at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall by the Ci ty CI erk and Engineer, wi 11 then
be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at a.m. (p.m.) on
, 1987, in the Council Chambers, and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, big bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for
percent of the amount of such bid.
