RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR
SHOREWOOD OAKS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, contracts have been let for the following
listed improvement and the contract price, expenses incurred or
to be incurred, and the City's share of the costs are as set out
hereinbelow:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
..
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially
assessed is hereby declared as set forth hereinabove.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City
Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
assessed for each such improvement against every assessable lot,
piece or parcel of land within the district affected without
regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file
a copy of such proposed assessment in her office for public
inspection. She shall provide each property owner with a mailed
notice at least two weeks prior to the hearing and with all the
information required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.061.
3. The City Clerk shall, upon completion of such
proposed assessments, notify the Council thereof.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota, this 14th day of September, 1987.
