RESOLUTION SETTING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR
SHOREWOOD OAKS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council, the
City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment on the
cost of the construction of a local improvement designated as
Project No. 87-1 and described as the Shorewood Oaks Development
Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has been directed to notify the
Council that such proposed assessments have been completed and
filed in her office for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 28th day of
September, 1987, in the City Hall at 7:45 p.m., to pass upon
proposed assessments for the following improvement:
Project No.87-1: Shorewood Oaks Development, to
include trunk watermain, utility, street
construction, and appurtenant work.
At such time and place all persons owning property affected by
such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with
reference to such assessments.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice
of the hearing on the proposed assessments to be published once
in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the
hearing, and she shall state in the assessment notice the total
cost of the improvement. She shall also cause mailed notice to
be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment
roll and to provide each property owner with all the information
required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.061.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota, this 14th day of September, 1987.
