RESOLUTION NO. 148-87

RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE DISPOSITION OF TAX FORFEIT
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department of Property Tax and
Public Records has notified the City of Shorewood
that a tax forfeit property exists in the City;
and
WHEREAS, it is up to the City Council to determine the
disposition of the parcel; and
WHEREAS, the City can choose to approve the parcel(s) for
public auction, auction to adjacent owners if
M.S. 282.01, Subd. 7A, is applicable, or request
a conveyance to the City for public use.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Shorewood that the disposition of the tax
forfeit parcel shall be as follows:
PIN 33-117-23-12-0030 Sale to Adjacent Property
Owner
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sale be conditioned upon said
adjacent property owner granting the City of Shorewood
a permanent easement over the entire parcel for
drainage and utility purposes.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this
9th day of November, 1987.
