A RESOLurICN ORDERING PREPARATICN OF

GLEN RQ<\1) - CXXJNIY RQ<\1) 19 DRAINAGE SYSTEM
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a local irrprovement known as
the Glen Road - Connty Road 19 Drainage System and to assess the benefi ted
property for all or a portion of the cost of the irrprovement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429; and
WHEREAS, it is intended that such construction be pursued in
cooperation with other nnits of local government nnder the auspices of the
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District.
WV, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Conncil of the Ci ty of
Shorewood as follows:
That the proposed irrprovement be referred to Eugene A. Hickok and
Associates, Engineers for the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, for
study and that they are instructed to report to the Conncil with all
convenient speed advising the Conncil in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed irrprovement is feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other irrprovement, and the
estimated cost of the irrprovement as recommended.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
FEASIBILITY REPORT ON
GLEN ROAD - COUNTY ROAD 19 DRAINAGE SYSTEM
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a local improvement known as
the Glen Road - County Road 19 Drainage System and to assess the benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 i and
WHEREAS, it is intended that such construction be pursued in
cooperation with other units of local government under the auspices of the
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Eugene A. Hickok
and Associates, Engineers for the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, for
study and that they are instructed to report to the Council with all
convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. T hat this authorization is made with the understanding that
the cost of such report to the City of Shorewood shall not exceed the sum
of $5,000.00.
