A RESOLurICN AOCEPI'ING STRERI'S IN 1HE PIAT OF
OOVINGIrn VINE RIOOE
WHEREAS, on February 10, 1986, the City entered into an Agreement
with United lVbrtgage Corporation for the developnent of the plat known as
Covington Vine Ridge; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 3 of said Developnent Agreement provided for
the Developer to construct and install certain enumerated improvements,
which improvements included street grading, stabilizing, and bituminous
surfacing, surmountable concrete curbs and gutters, sanitary sewer mains,
watermains, and storm sewers; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 4 of said Developnent Agreement provided for
the construction of such improvements to be subject to the supervision of
the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 19 of said Developnent Agreement provided for
the conveyance of said improvements to the City by the Developer and for
the acceptance by the City of such improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Developer has corrpleted construction of the said
improvements in the plat of Covington Vine Ridge, and all such
improvements have been inspected by the City Engineer and found to be in
corrpliance with the applicable plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the Developer is desirous of conveying said improvements
to the City and the City is desirous of accepting said improvements from
the Developer.
:tOY, 'IHEREFrnE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Ci ty hereby accepts from the Developer all of the
above enumerated inprovements within the plat of Covington Vine Ridge.
2. That said acceptance shall be subject to a one year guaranty
period as provided for in Paragraph 11 of the Developnent Agreement.
