RESOLUTION NO. 122-86
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE TRUNK WATERMAIN PORTION OF
SOUTHEAST AREA TRUNK WATER SUPPLY AND STORAGE FACILITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Project No.
86-1E, the trunk watermain portion of the improvement
designated as the Southeast Area Trunk Water Supply
and Storage Facility, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:
Widmer Brothers $39,107.50
M & M Sewer & Water Inc. $41,414.60
Crossings, Inc. $43,639.57
o & P Contracting, Inc. $45,177.48
F. F. Jedlicki, Inc. $46,050.50
Burschville Construction, Inc. $49,613.00
Kenko, Inc. $64,925.00

and
WHEREAS, it appears that Widmer Brothers is the lowest respon-
sible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the attached contract with Widmer Brothers in
the name of the City of Shorewood for Project No. 86-1E, the
trunk watermain portion of the Southeast Area Trunk Water
Supply and Storage Facility, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Shorewood, Minnesota,
this 14th day of October, 1986.
