RESOLUTION NO. 97-86
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR SEALCOATING AND APPURNTENANT WORK
PROJECT NO. 86-3A
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
Sealcoating and Appurntenant Work Project No.
86-3A, bids were received, opened and tabulated
accordinq to law, and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:
Allied Blacktop Company
$31,425.90
and
WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Company is the
lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and di-
rected to enter into the attached contract with Allied
Blacktop Company in the name of the City of Shorewood for
Sealcoating and Appurtenant Work Project No. 86-3A,
according to the plans and specifications therefor ap-
proved by the City Council and on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Shorewood, Minnesota,
this 11th day of August 1986.
