RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
SMITHTOWN ROAD STREET CONSTRUCTION, STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 86-3
WHEREAS, pursuant to direction given by the City Council, the
City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications
for local improvement designated as the Smithtown Road
Street Construction, Storm Sewer Improvements Project
No. 86-3 and has presented such plans and specifications
to the City Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved.

2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in "Construction Bulletin" and advertise-
ment for bids upon the making of such improvement under such
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be
published for one day, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state that bids will be received by the clerk until 11:30 a.m.
on July 11, 1986, at which time they will be publicly opened
in the council chambers of the city hall by the city clerk and
engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by
the council at 7:30 p.m. on July 14, 1986, in the council
chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed
and filed with the clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, big bond or certified check payable to the
clerk for 5 per cent of the amount of such bid.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Shorewood, Minnesota,
this 9th day of June, 1986.
