RESOLUTION NO. 57-86
WHEREAS, Shorewood Ordinance No. 147 prohibits persons
from using or standing on public or private streets or
highways, bridges or railroad bridges for the purpose of
fishing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received numerous
complaints that persons are, in fact, using public streets,
highways and bridges for the purpose of fishing; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed said complaints with
the South Lake Minnetonka Public Safety Department;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Shorewood that "NO FISHING" signs be erected
at the following locations:
1. Approximately 200 feet from the east side of Shady
Island Bridge on the north side of Tuxedo Road.
2. Approximately 400 feet from the west side of Shady
. Island Bridge on the north side of Tuxedo Road.
3. Approximately 400 feet from the west side of Shady
Island Bridge on the south side of Tuxedo Road.
