RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE HIRING OF JOHN BOLAND AND ASSOCIATES TO EXPRESS
SHOREWOOD' S VIEWS RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSED NEW METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT AND
INVESTMENT FRAMEWORK (MDIF)
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood is in receipt of the proposed new Metropol-
itan Development and Investment Framework (MDIF); and
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the draft MDIF and has concern with various
provisions of the document; and
WHEREAS, the City has been in attendance at several meetings with various other
governmental agencies also located in the southwestern portions of
the Metropolitan Area to review said concerns.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood
the following:
1. That the City of Shorewood continues to support the efforts of
governmental agencies in the southwest area in their efforts to
support and strengthen the proposed MDIF.
2. That the City supports the hiring of John Bolafidand^Associates
by the City of Chanhassen in order to express the views of the
governmental agencies located in the southwest portions of the
Metropolitan Area relative tb the proposed MDIF.

1986.
