RESOLUTION NO. 22-86
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON
SHOREWOOD OAKS TRUNK WATERMAIN, STREET, CURB AND GUTTER PROJECT
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a local improvement
to be known as the Shorewood Oaks Trunk Watermain, Street, Curb
and Gutter Project and to assess the property with the plat of
Shorewood Oaks for all of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429; and
WHEREAS, Shorewood Oaks Development, Inc., developer of
the property known as Shorewood Oaks has agreed to bear all the
costs incurred in the preparation of a report by the City Engineer
as to the feasibility of such improvement in the event that said
improvement is not ordered by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The proposed improvement be referred to
Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, city engineers, for study and
that they are instructed to report to the Council with all
convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended.
2. In the event the City does not order such improvement
after receiving such report, the entire cost of the preparation of
such report shall be charged to said Shorewood Oaks Development,
Inc.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota, this 2d day of March, 1986.
