RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE NOMINATION OF C. WAYNE COURTNEY FOR THE
C.C. LUDWIG AWARD
WHEREAS, C. Wayne Courtney, Mayor of Edina, has been nominated for the
C.C. Ludwig Award; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney has been a friend to the City of Shorewood over
the past many years; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney has aided the City of Shorewood in many projects
through his involvement with the Association of Metropolitan
Municipalities (AMM) and the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission
(MWCC); and
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney is a credit to everyone involved in Local
Government.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Shorewood wholeheartedly supports the nomination of Mayor C. Wayne
Courtney as this year's recipient of the C.C. Ludwig Award.
ADOPTED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this
10th day of March, 1986.
