RESOLUTION NO. 1-86
RESOLUTION NAMING PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has purchased property located at the
intersection of Covington Road and Old Market Road to be primarily
used as a City Park; and
WHEREAS, the Shorewood Park Commission has formulated a list of 21 possible
names for the new park; and
WHEREAS, the Park Commission has narrowed down the list and recommends
that the new park be named "Silverwood Park".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood
that the property owned by the City near the intersection of
Covington Road and Old Market Road be hereinafter called
"Silverwood Park".
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 13th day of
January, 1986.
