RESOLUTION RAISING RATES FOR USERS OF THE SHOREWOOD MUNICIPAL SANITARY
SEWER SYSTEM EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1986
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by staff to raise sanitary sewer system
usage rates; and
WHEREAS, sanitary sewer usage rates were last raised by the City Council
effective January 1, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. Rates for the usage of the Shorewood sanitary sewer system
are hereby raised to:
Residential - flat rate of $41.75 for each three (3) months
(quarter) of usage.
Commercial - flat rate of $50.00 for each three (3) months
(quarter) of usage for non-metered establishments; or,
minimum three (3) month (quarterly) charge in establishments
connected to metering systems of $50.00 for the first
28,500 gallons metered and $1.75 per each 1,000 gallons
metered thereafter.
2. Effective date of the sanitary sewer rates listed above
shall be January 1, 1986.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 16th day of
December, 1985.
