RESOLUTION NO. 96~85
RESOLUTION RAISING RATES FOR USERS OF THE SHOREWOOD MUNICIPAL WATER
SYSTEM EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1986
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Shorewood Well Study Committee
and staff to raise water usage rates; and
WHEREAS, water usage rates were last raised by the City Council effective
April 1, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. Rates for water usage from the Shorewood Municipal Water
System are hereby raised to:
Minimum three (3) month (quarterly) charge of $22.00 for
~ all water usage of 10,000 gallons or less and a charge of
$1.40 per 1,000 gallons of water used over 10,000 gallons.
2. Effective date of the water rates listed above shall be
January 1, 1986.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 16th day of
December, 1985.
