RESOLUTION NO 24-85
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT PUBLIC
WORKS DIRECTOR AND MAKING APPOINTMENT TO SAID POSITION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Shorewood has determined
that it is in the best interests of the City to establish
a second supervisory position in the Shorewood Public
Works Department, entitled Assistant Public Works Direc-
tor: and,
WHEREAS, a position opening notice was duly posted in the Public
Works garage on March 29, 1985 for said position; and
WHEREAS, resumes for the position were accepted until 3:30 P.M. on
April 15, 1985; and,
WHEREAS, three resumes were received by the City Administratpr for
the position; and,
WHEREAS, the Shorewood City Council interviewed the three interested
persons for the position on May 2, 1985 commencing. at
3:30 P.M.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the position of Assistand Public Works Director
is hereby established.
2. That said position be supervisory in nature.
3. That Howard Stark is hereby appointed to said position
effective May 7, 1985.
4. That the rate of pay for the position shall be estab-
lished by the City Council from time to time.
5. That the person appointed to this position will serve
a six month probationary period consitent with City pC!
policy.
. ADOPTED by the Shorewood City Council this 6th day of May, 1985.
