RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE TO ADD ONTO AN EXISTING NON-CONFDRMING
STRUCTURE OWNED BY ORVILLE HASTINGS LOCATED AT 5495 RADISSON ENTRANCE,
SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA IDENTIFIED FOR TAX PURPOSES AS PID 36-117-23 22 0022.
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has received a request for a
variance to expand a non-conforming structure, and,
WHEREAS,
after duly published, posted and written notifica-
tion was given in accordance with Section 6, Subdi-
vision 2B2 and Section 8 of Ordinance #77, a Public
Hearing was held on January 28, 1985 at 8:30 P.M. in
front of the Shorewood City Council and
WHEREAS, the addition to this non-conforming structure will not
increase the non-conformity and
.
WHEREAS, this existing structure was granted a setback variance
on May 10, 1971 for the construction of that stucture
a variance was granted based on the hardship of topo-
graphy and now, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this
request for a variance be granted as authorized by
Ordinance #159 to the following described property:
'1hat part of Lot 22 lying northerly of a line drawn from a point on
the easterly line of said lot distant 165 feet southerly from the
northeasterly corner of said lot to a point 50~00 feet northerly from
the most northerly corner of Lot 21 and southerly of a line drawn from
a point on the easterly line of said Lot 22 distant 100.00 feet southerly
from the northeasterly corner of said lot to a point on the westerly
line of said Lot 22 distant 100.00 feet southerly from the northwesterly
corner of said lot. All in RADISSON INN ADDITION, according to the
plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of
Deeds in and for Hennepin County".
Adopted by the City Council of the
City of Shorewood, this 28th day of
January, 1985.
