RESOLUTION NO. 65-84
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
improvement of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, concrete curb and
gutters, and blacktop streets for Phase 1 of the Waterford Project
were received and opened and tabulated according to law and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Barbarossa & Sons, Inc.
Orfei & Sons, Inc.
Progressive Contractors, Inc.
Northdale Construction Co. Inc.
Widmer Brothers, Inc.
G. L. Contracting, Inc.

WHEREAS, it appears that Kenko, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the attached contract with Kenko, Inc. in the name of
the City of Shorewood for the improvement of sanitary sewer, storm
sewer, concrete curb and gutters, and blacktop streets for Phase 1 of
the Waterford Project according to the plans and specifications
heretofor approved by the City Council and filed in the office of the
City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the
deposits of the successful bidder, and the next lowest bidder shall
be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 10th day of
September, 1984.
