CITY OF SHOREWOOD
, MINNESOTA

WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood , Minnesota and the
Co~nty of Hennepin have in effect a Joint Cooperation Agreement, County
Contract No. 10408 , for the purposes of qual ifyi ng as an
Urban County under the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development Community Development Block Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County wi sh to termi nate the Agreement and
execute a new Joint Cooperation Agreement, County Contract No.
40455 , to reconstitute the Urban County for purposes of
the Community Development Block Grant program.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the current Joint Cooperation Agreement between the
City and the County, County Contract No. 10408 , be
terminated effective September 30, 1984, and a new Joint Cooperation
Agreement between the City and the County, County Contract No.
40455 , be executed effective October 1, 1984, and that the
Mayor and the Administrator be authorized to sign the
Agreement on behalf of the City.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution, and upon a vote
being duly taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Rascop, Councilmembers Haugen, Shaw, Stover and Gagne
and,
the following voted against the same:
WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS
27th DAY OF August , 1984.
