84-034 . RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 34-84 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Shorewood, Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, has approved the request of Mrs. A. T. Ridinger of 5530 Howard's Point Road, Shorewood, Minnesota, to divide her property identified for tax purposes as PID 30-117-23 44 0012 into two (2) newly described parcels. SOUTHERLY PARCEL: That part of Lot 9, Howard's Point which lies southerly of the following described line: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 9; thence northeasterly along the easterly line of said Lot 9 to the northeast corner of said Lot 9, said northeast corner being the actual point of beginning of the line to be described; thence southwesterly, deflecting 122 degreees 26 minutes 06 seconds to the left, to the shore of Lake Minnetonka and there terminating. NORTHERLY PARCEL: . Lot 9, Howard's Point except that part which lies southerly of the follow- ing described line: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 9; thence northeasterly along the easterly line of said Lot 9 to the northeast corner of said Lot 9, said northeast corner being the actual point of beginning of the line to be described; thence southwesterly, deflecting 122 degrees 26 min- utes 06 seconds to the lef~to the shore of Lake Minnetonka and there term- inating. That part of Lot 8, Howard's Point described as follows: Commencing at a point in the North line of Lot 3 in Howard's Point distant 100.8 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot 3; thence South along a line at right angles to said North line of Lot 3 a distance of 43.7 feet; thence South 18 degrees 35' East 202.8 feet; thence South 47 degrees 28' East, 420.8 feet; thence South 13 degrees 47' East, 126.52 feet; said point being the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence North 71 degrees 45' West, 186.4 feet; thence South 65 degrees 49' West a distance of 163.8 feet, more or less, to the shore of Lake Minnetonka; thence Southerly along the shore of Lake Minnetonka to the Southwest corner of Lot 8; thence Easterly along the South line of Lot 8 to the Westerly line of Maple Avenue; thence Northeasterly along the Westerly line of Maple Avenue to a point in said line distant 248.76 feet Southerly of, measured along said Westerly line of Maple Avenue from the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Howard's Point; thence North 13 degrees 47' West 60 feet to the actual point of beginning, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for said Hennepin County. For purposes of this description the North line of said Lot 3 is considered to be a true East and West line. WHEREAS, the applicant has agreed to donate and dedicate by means of a transfer of deed to the City of Shorewood, a 5' easement along Howard's Point Road for public road right-of-way. . WHEREAS, the applicant has agreed to remove an existing shed at the time of division from the southerly lot as not to create a nonconforming structure. . RESOLUTION NO. 34-84 - 2 - WHEREAS, the applicant has agreed to pay all Park Fund Fees and any additional assessments required due to the division of this property.
